Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, an understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, and experience in BPO services. As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive client acquisition, retention, and brand awareness and you will be part of the leadership team of the company, reporting directly to the CEO and co-founder of the company.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our BPO services to WordPress-related companies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive landscape.
  • Go to industry events and network with key industry contracts both online and in person.  Identify strategic partnerships and represent the brand at public speaking opportunities.
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, email marketing, social media, and SEO.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation strategies and nurture potential clients through the sales funnel.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, blog posts, sales pages and videos.
  • Manage the company's website and ensure it is optimized for search engines and user experience.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed for marketing projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and the WordPress industry.
  • Lead, manage and take accountability for the marketing division of the company.
Success Profile
  • Strategic Planning -  Ability to develop and implement long-term marketing strategies aligned with business goals.  Competence in market analysis, identifying target audiences, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing -  Experience in developing and executing lead generation campaigns.  Skill in nurturing leads through the sales funnel with targeted marketing efforts.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.  Experience with digital advertising platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Content Creation and Management -  Strong writing and editing skills for creating engaging and persuasive marketing materials.  Ability to oversee content strategy, including blogs, sales pages, whitepapers, case studies, and videos.
  • Analytical Skills -  Ability to analyze marketing metrics and performance data to inform decisions.  Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Brand Management -  Ability to build and maintain a strong brand presence in the market.  Experience in creating and managing brand guidelines and ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills -  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Project Management - Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer-Centric Approach- Understanding of customer needs and pain points specific to the BPO industry.  Ability to tailor marketing strategies to address these needs effectively.
  • Technology Proficiency- Familiarity with marketing software and tools, such as HubSpot, Google docs, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Adaptability and Creativity - Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends.  Creative thinking to develop innovative marketing campaigns and solutions.
  • Team Collaboration- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and product development.  Ability to collaborate with external agencies and vendors for specialized marketing projects.
  • Industry Knowledge -  Deep understanding of the BPO industry, including its challenges, opportunities, and key players.  Awareness of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the BPO or technology sector.
  • Understanding of WordPress and its ecosystem (nice to have but not essential - can be learned in the role)
