Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Frontend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will work with our client’s engineering team to produce high-quality software and products, primarily focused on iteratively improving the core SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Software Development
• Develop and maintain responsive single page applications using mainly React.js and Typescript.
• Participate in agile planning, estimation and development to enable fast iteration and feedback loops.
• Communicate proactively with development team members to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
• Contribute ideas and efforts to improve quality and efficiency of the development processes.
Product Design & Experience
• Provide input on feasibility, usability and product design to build the best possible customer experiences using available resources.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Frontend Development




Technical Proficiencies
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and JavaScript frameworks used to build single-page applications (React.js preferred).
• Experience in HTML and CSS, including familiarity with HTML5 APIs, browser compatibility, modern styling, and layout techniques.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, CLI tools, and testing (Swagger, Node.js, Cypress preferred)
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance considerations and tradeoffs




Soft Skills
• Strong English Communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proactive in identifying and solving problems, as well as supporting colleagues.
• Self-organizing and detail-oriented.
• Passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement.




Nice to Haves
• Has experience working with SaaS or FinTech applications.
• Has design-system and component-library experience.

Schedule

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week).
• Monday to Friday, 2pm - 11pm (Philippines Standard Time)
